The Group Company Awarded the Title of “Most Caring Donor Enterprise” by Nantong City

On September 1, the 2023 China Charity Forum, co-hosted by the China Charity Federation, the Jiangsu Provincial Charity Federation, and the Nantong Municipal People’s Government, opened at the Nantong New Area Convention Center. That evening, during the China Charity Gala, exemplary individuals and organizations honored with the fourth “Nantong Charity Award” were recognized. Our group was awarded the title of “Most Caring Donor Enterprise” under the Nantong Charity Award, and Deputy General Manager Yin Yougen attended the gala by invitation, where he took to the stage on behalf of the group to receive the award plaque.
Fang Wei, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, and Zhang Tong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee and Mayor of Nantong, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Gong Puguang, President of the China Charity Federation; Li Xiaomin, President of the Jiangsu Provincial Charity Federation; and Zheng Gongcheng, Chairperson of the Expert Committee of the China Charity Federation, attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote addresses. Sun Da, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Charity Federation, presided over the opening session of the forum. Following the opening ceremony, Luo Yimin, Honorary President of the Zhang Jian Research Society of Jiangsu Province and Chairman of the Jiangsu International Cultural Exchange Center; Kong Dongmei, Honorary Vice President of the China Charity Federation; Huang Weidong, Chairman of the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and President of the Nantong Municipal Charity Federation; along with other relevant leaders and experts, delivered guest speeches.
Zhang Tong, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, expressed gratitude to all sectors of society for their longstanding concern and support for Nantong’s development. She emphasized that charitable undertakings are a significant indicator of social civility and progress, and that realizing common prosperity requires better leveraging the role of charity in the tertiary distribution of wealth. Nantong will thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches, intensify efforts to build Nantong into a “City of Charity,” continuously innovate approaches to charitable development, accelerate the establishment of a new-type charitable system, and strive to create a vibrant environment in which kindness is present everywhere, can be practiced at all times, is applied to all matters, and is embraced by everyone.
For many years, Nantong Construction Engineering Group has regarded fulfilling its social responsibility as its core mission.
