Nantong Construction Group Co., Ltd.
Nantong Construction Group Company Limited (NCGCL) is originated from Nantong Construction Installation Engineering General Corporation (NCIEGC) which was founded in April, 1952. It is the oldest State-run construction enterprise in China and the leader in Nantong “Iron Army”—Nantong Construction Industry. The Group was restructured into a private company in 2004 and was reshuffled as a corporate enterprise in 2006.
The Group is rated and officially licensed as the Top-Grade General Contractor for Building Construction and Grade I General Contractor for Decoration, Renovation & Design, for M/E Engineering Installation, for Erection of Crane Lifting Equipment, for Ground Base and Foundation Works, for Steel Structure works and Fire Fighting Equipment as well as Grade II Contractor in several other fields. In1999, the Group obtained official license to contract projects directly from outside China and passed the authentication of ISO9002 Quality System In 1997 as well as ISO14000 Environment System and OHSAS 18000 in 2003. Currently, the Group owns 8 subsidiaries and 29 branch companies in majority of cities, provinces and autonomous regions domestically and internationally in the Sudan, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania and Ethiopia. Currently the Group has an enrollment of 1215 technical and managerial employees at various levels. Among them are 14 Senior Engineers at Research level, 115 senior technical titles, 192 intermediate ones, 189 licensed as Constructors and 197 as Associated Constructors. As a large enterprise, the Group possesses over 4000 sets and pieces of construction equipment of various types with construction capability over 10 000 000 M2 pereach year. In 2013, the Group’s turnover reached 13.8 billion RMB.

The Group Company Holds a General Manager’s Office Meeting
On March 9, the Group held a General Manager’s Office Meeting to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Group’s 2026 Strategic Planning Retreat, the Work Conference on Workplace Safety, and the important address delivered by Chairman Zhang Xiangyang, and to deliberate and finalize the new year’s work plans and initiatives for all headquarters departments. Senior management personnel at or above the deputy director level from the Group’s headquarters departments attended the meeting, which was chaired by General Manager Zhang Zhongda. Chairman Zhang Xiangyang also attended the meeting and delivered a concluding speech.

Nanjing Branch Holds 2026 New Year Tea Party
With the spring tide surging, now is the time to forge ahead. On March 18, the Nantong Construction Group’s Nanjing Branch held a grand Spring Tea Gathering. The meeting served both as a comprehensive review of 2025’s performance and as a systematic plan for 2026’s development, adopting an energetic stance of “treating the start as a decisive battle and the initial phase as a sprint” to lay a solid foundation for high-quality growth throughout the year. Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group, attended the meeting in person to conduct on-site research and provide guiding remarks, while the event was chaired by Jiang Zhifeng, Deputy General Manager of the branch.

On the morning of March 27, the Jiangsu Provincial Construction Industry Association convened its 2025 Annual Conference in Suzhou. Attending the meeting were Li Zhen, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development; Wang Zhiqiang, Second-Level Inspector; Li Qiang, Director of the Market Division; Geng Yuhua, President of the Association; Tang Shihai, Party Building Instructor; Sun Zhongjian, Vice President and Secretary-General; Qiu Tianqing, Chairman of the Supervisory Board; as well as nearly 400 representatives from the Association’s vice presidents, executive directors, directors, member units, and supply-and-demand enterprises. Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group Company, was invited to attend the conference in his capacity as a vice president of the Association.

On March 26, the Jiangsu Province Symposium on High-Quality “Going Global” for Construction Enterprises was held at the China State Construction Future Building in Suzhou. Fei Shaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development; Li Zhen, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department; and Zhang Fang, Director of the Membership Services Department of the China International Contractors Association, attended the meeting. The session was chaired by Gao Bo, General Manager of the Overseas Business Division of China State Construction Group and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China State Construction International. Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group, was invited to attend the meeting as a representative of Jiangsu’s leading construction enterprises and delivered a speech.

Chairman Zhang Xiangyang Conducts Research and Provides Guidance on the Work of Subordinate Units
The opening phase sets the tone for the entire year, and the initial steps determine the trajectory ahead. To thoroughly implement the spirit of the Group’s 2026 Strategic Planning Retreat and Safety Production Work Conference, and to comprehensively plan and deploy key tasks for the year, starting February 28, Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group, led a headquarters research team on a special inspection and guidance tour of the Group’s major subsidiaries. This initiative introduced an innovative approach: the research team attended the leadership meetings of each subsidiary, working alongside the leadership teams to clarify thinking, define direction, set objectives, and formulate concrete measures. The goal is to ensure that all subsidiaries achieve a stable and promising start to the year, thereby laying a solid foundation for the successful completion of the Group’s key annual targets and tasks.
