The Group Company Implements a Mentorship Program for On-Site Practical Training in Safety Management

To comprehensively strengthen capacity building within the workforce dedicated to work safety management and further enhance the comprehensive professional competence of young talent in this field, the Group held a safety training and practical exercise workshop on November 10 at the CR21032 land development project site in Nantong City. A total of 28 participants attended, including trainees under the mentorship program for young safety management professionals and relevant safety management personnel from Branch Company No. 1, Branch Company No. 3, and the General Contracting Division.
This training session was led by instructors Yin Yougen, Liu Xu, and Wang Jianming, who provided detailed instruction on key and challenging aspects of project safety production management through three thematic modules: hands-on field training and theoretical instruction on climbing scaffolds, application of safety calculation software, and analysis of typical accident cases and best practices in international engineering projects.
During the training sessions, participants thoroughly grasped key aspects of software applications for formwork support systems, scaffolding, and tower crane foundation design, including the selection of computational models, parameter settings, theoretical analysis, and critical operational considerations. In the analysis of accident case studies and presentations of exemplary real-world projects, attendees listened attentively, and the wealth of visual case examples broadened their perspectives. During hands-on practical training on climbing scaffolds combined with theoretical instruction, participants engaged directly with on-site equipment, actively interacting with instructors to gain an in-depth understanding of the structural configuration and operating principles of climbing scaffolds. Despite the chilly weather and light rain, learners remained highly motivated, actively asking questions, taking notes, capturing photos and videos, and engaging in lively discussions throughout the session.
Thanks to the instructors’ insightful, in-depth, and comprehensive presentations, a broad cohort of trainees has achieved new advances—from theory to practice. As young professionals in safety management within the group company, we must cultivate a lifelong learning mindset in the face of new circumstances, new tasks, and new challenges; proactively broaden our horizons; diligently address our weaknesses; and strive to enhance our overall safety management competence.
