To carry forward the red revolutionary spirit and strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission among Party members, on July 1 the Party branch and the trade union committee of the Shijiazhuang Branch organized a unique Party-building activity. Participants included Liu Jian, General Manager of the Shijiazhuang Branch; veteran Party member representatives Jiang Weibing and Peng Hanxin; as well as outstanding project leaders such as Lu Jun, Xu Weixin, and He Zhenhao. Led by the senior comrades, young Party members, probationary Party members, and ordinary Party members visited the underground tunnel warfare site in Gaoping Village, Zhengding County—a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province—where they immersed themselves in the wisdom and courage of their revolutionary forebears. They also paid visits to and extended condolences to elderly residents in need, thereby putting the Party’s guiding principles into practice through concrete actions.

Under the blazing midday sun, the Party group and the working committee first arrived at the Martyrs’ Memorial Tower in Gaoping Village, Zhengding County. Veteran Party members Jiang Weibing and Peng Hanxin, together with young Party members Jiang Weijie and Li Wenjuan, laid flower baskets and straightened the ribbons in tribute to the martyrs. Afterwards, led by the Party members, all comrades stood solemnly in silence and sang the national anthem in unison. The resounding melody and inspiring lyrics ignited patriotic fervor in everyone’s heart. Standing before the Martyrs’ Memorial Monument, under the guidance of the oath leader Liu Jian, all participants made a firm fist with their right hand and recited the Party membership oath in unison. These solemn vows, each word carrying immense weight, represent the Party members’ solemn commitment to the Party—and, above all, their unwavering determination to remain loyal to the Party and dedicate their lives to the cause of communism.
Subsequently, the group visited the Memorial Hall of the Underground Tunnel Warfare in Gaoping Village, Zhengding County. Party members carefully made their way through the narrow tunnels; the low ceiling and damp conditions vividly conveyed the arduous struggles endured by revolutionary predecessors under harsh conditions.
After the visit, the comrades proceeded to the meeting room of the Gaoping Village Committee, where they gathered in a circle to study the Selected Excerpts from Xi Jinping’s Discourses on Strengthening the Party’s Style of Work. Subsequently, each participant shared their personal experiences and insights. Liu Jian stated that, as Party members in the new era, we must inherit and carry forward this spirit: in our work, we should be bold in innovation and courageous in taking responsibility, thereby contributing our share to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Other Party members also offered their reflections; veteran Party member Jiang Weibing emphasized that our current work must be grounded at the grassroots level—only when grassroots employees are motivated and willing to join forces and move forward can we go further. Young Party member Li Wenjuan argued that, given the present macro environment, we must cultivate a spirit of hard work and the ability to tackle tough challenges, learning from our revolutionary predecessors to persevere to the end. She is confident that, together with the Group, we will be able to face and overcome the current difficulties. She urged everyone to take this visit and study session as an opportunity to further strengthen their ideals and convictions, enhance their Party spirit, and fully exemplify the vanguard and model role of Party members in both their work and daily life.
Subsequently, in order to foster the integration of corporate culture with employees’ values, strengthen team cohesion, and enhance awareness of social responsibility through practical assistance, members of the Party group and the Party Working Committee visited local families in need, including those of Cui Xiurong and Sun Wenzhen, bringing with them care packages. At each household, they engaged in warm, heartfelt conversations with the elderly, carefully inquiring about their health, daily living conditions, and any practical difficulties they were facing. They also presented rice, flour, cooking oil, and other essential supplies, conveying the Party organization’s care and warmth while urging the seniors to take good care of their health and maintain a positive outlook. The elderly were deeply moved and repeatedly expressed their gratitude.
This Party-building activity seamlessly integrated red education with service to the people, providing participants with a profound education in patriotism and revolutionary tradition while further strengthening the bond between the Party and the masses. Participants unanimously expressed that, moving forward, they will take the revolutionary pioneers as role models, keep their original aspiration and mission firmly in mind, carry forward the red gene, and devote themselves to their work with even greater enthusiasm and unwavering determination, wholeheartedly and compassionately delivering practical results and resolving real problems for the people.
