Cao Rong Wins Second Prize in the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions’ “Safety Family Letter” Speech Contest

On August 27, the finals of the “Safety Family Letter” Speech Contest organized by the Nantong Municipal Federation of Trade Unions’ directly affiliated unions were held at the Nantong North Cultural and Sports Center. Our company’s contestant, Cao Rong, delivered an outstanding performance with his heartfelt speech, “Safety: the Only Path Home,” which earned him a place in the finals among 21 employee contestants from grassroots unions and ultimately secured second prize.
This competition is themed “Safety Letters to Family,” with the aim of strengthening employees’ awareness of workplace safety and innovating approaches to safety education. At the event, Cao Rong, drawing on the unique characteristics of the construction industry, used a heartfelt letter to family and colleagues to closely link workplace safety with familial responsibilities. With genuine emotion, he recounted his family’s reminders and deep concern for his safety at work, while also sharing, based on his own professional experience, the team’s best practices in safety management during construction. Through these stories, the principle that “the safety of one individual affects the entire family” was deeply ingrained in the minds of all attendees.
This competition not only provided employees with a platform to showcase their talents but also leveraged the medium of family letters to transform the concept of safe production into a shared family value. Cao Rong’s outstanding performance in the speech contest is both a vivid demonstration of his profound understanding of safety principles and a microcosm of the company’s long-term commitment to cultivating a culture of workplace safety, thereby providing robust safety safeguards that support the enterprise’s sustained, stable, and healthy development.
