The Group Holds the 8th Happy Run Friendship Race

On the banks of Zilang Lake in winter, a gentle breeze blows warmly, stirring up boundless passion. On the afternoon of November 20, the Group’s eighth Fun Run Friendship Race was held as scheduled. Chairman Zhang Xiangyang personally led the team, with more than 150 cadres and employees enthusiastically circling the lake in spirited competition—measuring their original aspirations with every step and rallying their strength through running. In doing so, they infused the corporate spirit of “hard work and pioneering” into every stride, injecting powerful momentum into the Group’s arduous journey to ensure survival and pursue development.

As a signature event that the Group has upheld for eight years, this year’s Fun Run Friendship Competition has been imbued with even greater contemporary significance. At present, the construction industry is enduring a severe downturn, characterized by a sharp decline in market demand and a marked increase in uncertainty, as the sector enters a period of adjustment marked by intensifying competition over existing assets. Against this backdrop, the Group’s trade union has organized this event under the theme “Run with Joy, Break Through Adversity,” with the aim of galvanizing the entire workforce through collective physical activity and forging a resilient “Construction Iron Army” capable of overcoming challenges and achieving breakthroughs.

At 2:30 p.m., with a loud starting command from Chairman Zhang Xiangyang, employees clad in uniform sportswear set off along the picturesque Zilang Lake racecourse, creating a vibrant, moving scene. Chairman Zhang Xiangyang remained at the head of the pack throughout, leading the workforce with courage and determination. Along the course, veteran employees nearing their sixties marched with steady steps and unwavering commitment, while newly hired young staff exuded boundless energy and strived to take the lead. Everyone cheered each other on, fully experiencing the warmth and strength of teamwork.

Following the fun run, Chairman Zhang Xiangyang posed for a group photo with employees, his smile shining in harmony with the picturesque lake scenery. This spirited event not only helped relieve work-related stress but also strengthened a shared sense of purpose across the entire company. As we forge ahead against headwinds, the Nantong Construction team will draw on an iron will and a spirit of unity and collaboration to write a new chapter of sustained, steady, and healthy corporate development!
