Notice on the Third Batch of Municipal-Level Civilized Construction Sites for 2016 (Municipal-Level Standardized Civilized Demonstration Sites and Safe Construction Sites)

To the Construction Bureaus and Construction Engineering Bureaus of all counties (cities and districts), and to all relevant units:
In accordance with the “Notice of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development on Conducting the 2016 Provincial-Level Standardized Civilized Demonstration Construction Site Compliance Assessment” (Sujian Zhi’an [2016] No. 229), the “Nantong Municipal Measures for the Assessment and Management of Civilized (Safe) Construction Sites in Building Projects” (Tongjian’an [2013] No. 94), the “Provisional Scoring Table for the Assessment of Civilized Construction Sites in Municipal Engineering in Nantong” (Tongjian’an [2008] No. 290), the “Notice of the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Urban and Rural Construction on Further Strengthening the Creation of Safe and Civilized Construction Sites and Safe Construction Sites” (Tongjian’an [2011] No. 186), and the “Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan for the Project to Enhance the Standardization of Work Safety in Nantong’s Building Construction Projects” (Tongjian’an [2016] No. 134), following applications submitted by construction enterprises and recommendations from the administrative departments of construction in each county (city, district) and the Municipal Safety Supervision Station, the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Urban and Rural Construction conducted inspections and assessments of the nominated construction sites and has decided to confer the title of “Nantong Municipal Civilized Construction Site (Municipal-Level Standardized Civilized Demonstration Construction Site, Safe Construction Site)” on 47 projects, including the “Nantong IKEA Home Furnishings Mall Project (Parcel C15025).” This decision is hereby announced. All relevant units are required to provide rewards to the project departments and project managers of the awarded projects in accordance with the pertinent policies and regulations issued by higher authorities; furthermore, when making final payments for construction works, the project owners shall settle the fees for on-site safety and civilized construction measures as prescribed. All winning projects are expected to continue strengthening their management to prevent accidents.
