Release of the “Top 100 Chinese Construction Enterprises” and “Top 100 Most Competitive Chinese Construction Enterprises” — Our Company Honored with the Title of “Top 100 Most Competitive Chinese Construction Enterprises” On October 22, the China Construction Industry Association convened in Zhengzhou the 2012 National AAA-Credit Construction Enterprises Conference and the 2011 Release Ceremony for the “Top 100 Chinese Construction Enterprises” and the “Top 100 Most Growth-Oriented Chinese Construction Enterprises.” During the event, 291 enterprises were officially recognized as 2012 National AAA-Credit Construction Enterprises, while the 2011 “Top 100 Most Competitive Chinese Construction Enterprises” and “Top 100 Most Growth-Oriented Chinese Construction Enterprises” were also unveiled. Release of China’s Top 100 Construction Enterprises
Our company has been honored as one of the “Top 100 Most Competitive Construction Enterprises in China.”
On October 22, the China Construction Industry Association convened in Zhengzhou the 2012 National AAA-Credit Enterprises in the Construction Industry and the 2011 Top 100 Chinese Construction Enterprises Awards Ceremony, at which 291 enterprises were officially recognized as 2012 National AAA-Credit Enterprises in the Construction Industry, and the 2011 Top 100 Most Competitive Chinese Construction Enterprises and the Top 100 Most Growth-Oriented Chinese Construction Enterprises were also announced. Xu Yiping, Vice President of the China Construction Industry Association, and Wang Wei, Director of the Comprehensive Division of the Construction Market Supervision Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban–Rural Development, attended the event and delivered speeches. More than 400 representatives from regional construction industry associations, relevant construction trade associations, and construction enterprises also took part in the ceremony.
At the meeting, Wu Tao, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Construction Industry Association, read out the “Decision on Announcing the 2012 National AAA-Credit Enterprises in the Construction Industry” and the “Notice on Announcing the Results of the 2011 Top 100 Enterprises in Both the Construction Engineering and Building Materials Sectors in China.” On behalf of the Department of Construction Market Regulation of the Ministry of Housing and Urban–Rural Development, Wang Wei extended his congratulations on the convening of the press conference. Drawing on the key priorities of construction market regulation, he put forward specific recommendations for accelerating the structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, covering such areas as speeding up legislative development, improving administrative approval procedures, enhancing the level of information-based supervision, and advancing the construction of industry databases. He commended the China Construction Industry Association for its proactive role in building an industry credit system and promoting the healthy development of the sector, and expressed the hope that the Association would continue to pay close attention to the key and challenging issues in industry development, thereby contributing to the prosperity of the construction industry.
Vice President Xu Yiping delivered a concluding address. He pointed out that conducting evaluations for AAA-rated credit enterprises and the “Top 100” enterprises is essential both for promoting the continued healthy development of the industry and for advancing brand-building among construction firms and strengthening the sector’s soft power. He expressed three expectations for national AAA-rated credit enterprises in the construction industry and China’s “Top 100” construction enterprises: first, to fully leverage the leading and exemplary role of advanced enterprises by conscientiously complying with relevant laws, regulations, standards, and codes governing engineering construction, rigorously fulfilling contracts, intensifying staff training, and relying on technological progress and management innovation to effectively enhance project quality and safety management; second, to engage in orderly competition and operate with integrity, thereby fostering a harmonious and mutually beneficial development environment and pursuing a path of sustainable development so that both individual enterprises and the industry as a whole can achieve sustained, healthy growth; and third, to be willing to make contributions, take responsibility courageously, and actively fulfill their due social responsibilities. Through unremitting efforts, they should establish a positive public image, thereby earning greater respect and acclaim for the construction industry.
The China Top 100 Construction Enterprises Ranking is a public-interest initiative organized by the China Construction Industry Association to motivate enterprises to strive for excellence. Its objectives are to highlight the comprehensive strength of China’s construction industry, showcase the remarkable achievements of the sector, enhance corporate brand image, encourage construction firms to actively fulfill their social responsibilities, guide them in accelerating the transformation of their development models, and continuously improve their competitiveness. Since the inaugural ranking in 2011, our company has been listed for two consecutive years, securing the 66th position in the “2011 China Construction Industry Top 100 Enterprises for Competitiveness” list.
