The 2013 Liaison Officers’ Work Conference of the China Construction Enterprise Association Was Held in Nanchang; “Nantong Construction Engineering” Newspaper Wins National “Golden Page” Award Again On August 15, the 2013 Liaison Officers’ Work Conference of the China Construction Enterprise Association was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. At the conference, Li Hongqing, Secretary-General of the China Construction Enterprise Association, delivered an important address, while Shang Runtao, Deputy Secretary-General, presented the Association’s semi-annual work report for 2013. Zhang Jisheng, President of the Jiangxi Provincial Construction Industry Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Nearly 300 correspondents and liaison officers from affiliated associations and member units took part in the conference. The event also recognized outstanding correspondents, liaison officers, and websites for their contributions in 2013.

“Nantong Construction Engineering” Newspaper Wins National “Golden Page” Award Again
On August 15, the 2013 Annual Conference of Communications Officers of the China Construction Enterprise Association was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. At the conference, Secretary-General Li Hongqing delivered an important address, while Deputy Secretary-General Shang Runtao presented the Association’s semi-annual work report for 2013. Zhang Jisheng, President of the Jiangxi Provincial Construction Industry Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Nearly 300 correspondents and liaison officers from affiliated associations and member units took part in the event. The conference also honored outstanding correspondents, liaison officers, and websites for their contributions in 2013.
In his address, Secretary-General Li Hongqing pointed out that liaison work is a crucial component that bears on the overall functioning of the Association, serving as a fundamental, service-oriented, and safeguarding pillar in all aspects of its operations. The immediate priority for the Association’s liaison efforts is to focus on major issues of overarching significance—namely, key understandings, major strategies, and landmark projects—so as to make meaningful contributions by serving the broader national agenda, achieve sustainable development through both inheritance and innovation, and deliver breakthroughs in serving member enterprises. With regard to the specific tasks of liaison work, Secretary-General Li Hongqing emphasized the need to enhance forward-looking insight and foster greater creativity; to remain steadfastly service-oriented and prioritize practical effectiveness; to identify and address critical points while elevating professional expertise; and to steadily raise the overall standard of liaison activities.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary-General Shang Runtao briefed attendees on the Association’s work for the first half of 2013 and on its communication and liaison activities over the past year, and outlined key plans for the next phase of such efforts.
At the meeting, Sun Xiaobo, Director of the Office of the China Construction Enterprise Association, read out the decision on commending outstanding correspondents, liaison officers, and website contributors for 2013. Huang Xianghua, Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Construction Enterprise Management,” then announced the list of “Golden Page” publications and outstanding periodicals. Our company’s newspaper, “Nantong Construction Engineering,” along with 64 other publications, was awarded the nation’s highest honor in the engineering construction industry—the “Golden Page” Award.
