Actively Participating in the Reception of President Xi’s Delegation: Embassy in Tianjin Expresses Gratitude to Our Zimbabwe Branch

During President Xi Jinping’s visit to Zimbabwe on December 1–2, 2015, at the arrangement of the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe, the Group’s Zimbabwe branch, led by General Manager Ling Jinxiang, actively participated in the reception of President Xi’s delegation, undertaking extensive work in areas such as coordinating visit arrangements and providing logistical support for the delegation, thereby demonstrating a strong sense of the bigger picture and a strong sense of responsibility. During President Xi Jinping’s visit to Zimbabwe on December 1–2, 2015, the Group’s Zimbabwe branch, under the leadership of General Manager Ling Jinxiang, actively participated in the reception arrangements for President Xi’s delegation, as coordinated by the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe. The branch undertook extensive work in areas such as coordinating visit preparations and providing logistical support for the delegation, demonstrating a strong sense of the bigger picture and a strong sense of responsibility. Over the past decade or so, whenever successive leaders of the Party and the State have visited Zimbabwe, our branch office in Zimbabwe has consistently participated in the reception arrangements. Moreover, Ling Jinxiang, the branch’s general manager, has, as the representative of Chinese-funded institutions stationed in Zimbabwe, been received on multiple occasions by Party and State leaders including Wu Bangguo, Jia Qinglin, and Xi Jinping, and has had his photograph taken with them.
