On the afternoon of May 10, the Nantong Construction Industry’s Symposium on Aligning Services with Shanghai was held at the Guoxin Zijinshan Hotel in Shanghai. Attending the meeting were leaders including Wu Yonghong, Vice Mayor of the Nantong Municipal People’s Government; Pei Xiao, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban–Rural Development; Ma Jianming, Director of the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Urban and Rural Construction; and Shen Weixing, Deputy Director of the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Urban and Rural Construction and Director of the Municipal Construction Management Bureau. Shanghai has long been a traditional market for Nantong’s construction industry. Under the new circumstances in which our city is fully aligning with Shanghai, this symposium was convened to actively support Shanghai’s development strategy, establish and improve a regular coordination mechanism among relevant administrative bodies, industry associations, and major construction entities in both cities, strengthen research on Shanghai’s policies, laws and regulations, technical standards, management philosophies, and planning frameworks, introduce advanced management models and development concepts, and promote in-depth cooperation between Shanghai-based and Nantong-based construction enterprises. Our company is among the earliest construction firms from Nantong—and indeed from Jiangsu Province—to enter the Shanghai market, having undertaken a large number of industrial and civil construction projects, including landmark Luban Award–winning projects such as Shanghai Haihua Garden, China Shipbuilding Building, and Shanghai Haili Building. This symposium presents a new opportunity for our company to further expand our presence in the Shanghai construction market.
