More than 200 people—including Group leaders, heads of headquarters departments, leaders of all subordinate units, and all employees of the Third Branch Company—came together to bid farewell to the old year, welcome the new, share their achievements, and look forward to the future.
At the group New Year gathering, Zhong Yiming, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company and General Manager of the Third Branch, first extended New Year greetings on behalf of the Party General Branch of the Third Branch, the General Manager’s Office, and the Trade Union to all the leaders and employees in attendance, conveying their most sincere wishes and best hopes for the New Year.
Subsequently, General Manager Zhong Yiming delivered a New Year address, in which he emphasized that 2017 was a year of diligent effort and hard work by the staff and workers of the Third Branch Company, as well as a year of steady and sustained development and significant achievements. Throughout the year, the company secured new contracts worth RMB 2.01 billion, achieved a construction output value of RMB 1.74 billion, recorded financial settlement revenue of RMB 1.401 billion, and generated a profit of RMB 41.39 million—thus not only fully meeting the key economic targets set by the Group but also setting new all-time highs. He stated that in the coming year, the company will continue to uphold the corporate spirit of “hard struggle and pioneering initiative,” remain true to its original aspiration and keep its mission firmly in mind, forge ahead with determination and work diligently, and make new and even greater contributions to the Group’s continued, steady, and healthy development on a higher platform.
Finally, Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group Company, delivered an enthusiastic address. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the cadres and employees of the Third Branch for their hard work in 2017 and extended warm congratulations on the outstanding achievements they had attained. He emphasized that 2017 marked the twelfth year since the current leadership team of the Third Branch assumed office. Over these twelve years, the branch’s business performance has grown steadily year after year, its management level has continuously improved, and it has emerged as a vanguard in the Group’s reform and development, making significant contributions to the Group. He summarized four fundamental lessons from the Third Branch’s reform and development: clear objectives and well-defined strategies; bold pioneering spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence; people-oriented approach and continuous team building; and adherence to the overall interests and willingness to make selfless contributions. He called on all subordinate units to take the Third Branch as a benchmark, strive to learn from it, compete to achieve excellence, and jointly write a new chapter in the new era of Nantong Construction Engineering!
