Performance to Show Appreciation at the Construction Site of the Nantong Xingdong Airport Terminal Expansion and Reconstruction Project

　　On May 18, the “Literature and Art Walking Hand in Hand with the New Era”慰问 performance, hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee, the Nantong Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication, and the Nantong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and organized by the Nantong Art Theatre, was held at the construction site of the Nantong Xingdong Airport Terminal Area Expansion and Reconstruction Project (General Contracting), which is being undertaken by the Installation Branch. The performance brought a heartwarming show to the construction workers on the front lines of the airport project and distributed care packages to them. Leaders and management personnel from the Nantong Municipal Party Committee, the Agency Construction Center, the Airport Company, and various participating construction units, as well as frontline workers, attended the event.

　　The airport terminal area renovation and expansion project, undertaken by the Installation Branch Company, is a key project for Nantong City. The MEP installation works are valued at approximately RMB 100 million and cover a building area of about 70,000 square meters. Construction on the MEP systems commenced in September 2017, with completion scheduled for the end of 2018; the project is currently at its peak construction phase.
