On July 25, in order to implement the guiding principles set forth by Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group, on strengthening the study and application of BIM technology to drive corporate transformation and upgrading through technological innovation, and to further address the various challenges encountered by employees in the practical application of BIM, the Group organized a training session on the Pinming PBIM comprehensive solution in the Headquarters Auditorium. This training session provides an overview of the functions and usage of three BIM software tools: First, a 3D construction planning software. This software can rapidly convert traditional 2D layout plans into 3D layouts and directly generate construction simulation animations as deliverables. Its capabilities encompass 3D site layout, simulation animations, material quantity takeoffs, standardized construction-site design, earthwork excavation, and other specialized work packages. Second, a scaffolding engineering design software. This tool enables intelligent scaffold layout and calculation of scaffold design parameters through an embedded structural analysis engine. By integrating code-compliant parameter constraints, it automatically computes scaffold parameters based on the structural model, allowing one-click generation of construction drawings, precise material quantity estimation, 3D visualization of design outcomes, and rapid optimization and selection among alternative erection schemes. Third, a formwork engineering design software. Developed using BIM principles, this software is specifically designed for formwork design in cast-in-place structures. It supports visual review of design proposals, formwork cost estimation, verification of high-support formwork systems, and comprehensive proposal preparation, making it China’s first BIM-based formwork design software.
During the training, the instructor explained the basic operations of each software in a clear and accessible manner, while using a projector to provide live demonstrations and integrating learning with practice. By encouraging immediate on-the-spot exercises, participants were able to identify issues and receive timely guidance to resolve them, ensuring that each trainee not only learned but also practiced and mastered the skills—striving to acquire and firmly retain knowledge within the limited time available.
Through this training program, employees across all departments will gain a deeper understanding of BIM technology, fostering greater self-motivation and enthusiasm for learning. This will enable them to proficiently apply BIM in their day-to-day work, thereby enhancing both the efficiency and quality of their professional performance. At the same time, the program will lay a solid foundation for cultivating outstanding BIM professionals for the company.
