Beijing Branch Conducts Team-Building Activities for Young Employees

From September 1 to September 2, with the care and support of the Party branch and the trade union of the Beijing Branch, the Youth League branch organized a two-day themed team-building activity for 34 young employees at Nandaihe. On the morning of September 1, the Youth League branch held a leadership transition meeting in the conference room of the team-building base. Wang Zhiqing, Secretary of the Youth League branch, first summarized the branch’s work and then presided over the election for new leadership. Following the vote, the members of the fifth-term Youth League branch of the Beijing Branch were elected as follows: Wang Jing, Wang Yaozu, Chen Jinrong, Li Jiayuan, Shen Dongwei, and Huo Hongguang. Chen Jinrong was elected Secretary of the Youth League branch, and Wang Yaozu was elected Deputy Secretary. In the afternoon of September 1, the team-building activities officially commenced.

On the afternoon of September 1, the team-building activities officially got underway. Participants were randomly divided into two teams and promptly elected a team captain, a team secretary, and a flag bearer. Every team member actively engaged, completing the design of their team name, team flag, and team slogan within the allotted time, thereby demonstrating both collective wisdom and strong team spirit. The activities included such challenges as “You Splash, I Block,” “Relay Water Transport,” “The Dragon Emerges from the Sea,” “Relay Card Flip,” and “Secret-Code Relay.” Each carefully crafted activity sparked keen interest and enthusiasm among participants. Throughout the experience, team members cooperated closely and worked together seamlessly to successfully complete each task, gaining a deep appreciation for essential management principles that are directly relevant to the workplace—such as building trust within the team, fostering effective communication, practicing empathy and perspective-taking, ensuring sound organizational planning, exercising strong leadership, and leveraging effective teamwork.
Over the course of two days of team-building activities, participants strengthened their sense of teamwork, gained a deeper understanding of accountability and responsibility, and came to appreciate the importance of effective communication, collaboration, group cohesion, mutual support, harmonious interpersonal relationships, and adherence to organizational norms.
