The Group Company Launches a Special Study Session on “Thirty Lectures on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era”

In accordance with the notice issued by the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee on organizing a special study session on “Thirty Lectures on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” on the “Jiangsu Vanguard” distance-learning platform, the Group Company launched a company-wide special study campaign on this topic starting September 25, 2018. In accordance with the notice issued by the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee on organizing a special study session on “Thirty Lectures on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” through the “Jiangsu Vanguard” distance-learning platform, the Group Company launched a company-wide special study campaign on this topic starting September 25, 2018. Through following the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Organization Department’s WeChat official account, “Jiangsu Vanguard,” a broad contingent of Party members have been able to listen to and study the material, thereby achieving full coverage of the special study initiative.
To ensure that all Party members and cadres participate in the special study, at the Group Company’s third-quarter political work meeting held on October 9, Ge Xuxin, Head of the Party and Mass Work Department, made specific arrangements for this task, which was subsequently emphasized by Li Weidong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, in his concluding remarks. Meanwhile, to facilitate learning among the broad ranks of Party members, the Party and Mass Work Department promptly posted the “Jiangsu Vanguard” WeChat official account card and the requirements for the special study in the Political Work Forum WeChat group, instructing all branch secretaries to forward these materials to their respective branch Party member WeChat groups, thereby encouraging branch members to follow the account, engage in the study, and check in.
Following the conclusion of the “Jiangsu Province Vanguard” special study series on “Thirty Lectures,” the Group promptly organized a learning assessment on “Thirty Lectures on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” to consolidate the learning outcomes. Over the two-week period from November 11 to November 29, a total of 266 Party members took the online quiz 325 times, achieving an average score of 96. Some Party members, unsatisfied with their initial results, took a second round of testing, and even Party members stationed overseas participated in the assessment.
Through study, the vast majority of Party members have expressed that “Thirty Lectures” provides a comprehensive, systematic, and in-depth exposition of the profound significance, scientific framework, rich connotations, essential spirit, and practical requirements of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. With its thorough explanations and vivid interpretations, the work fully demonstrates the truth and intellectual appeal of this thought. We must genuinely study it deeply, gain a thorough understanding of it, and integrate its principles into our thinking; moreover, in our future work, we should consciously use this thought to fortify our minds, guide our practice, and advance our work.
