On the afternoon of November 6, Mr. Huang Yaoquan, President of the Namibian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, paid a visit to the Group’s headquarters for an inspection and exchange. Mr. Zhang Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Group, along with Mr. Chen Guoli, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Overseas Branch, attended the reception.
Chairman Zhang Xiangyang began by extending a warm welcome to President Huang Yaoquan for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit and exchange views with the company. He provided a brief overview of the group’s reform and development journey, its corporate qualifications, and its operational performance. In particular, Chairman Zhang highlighted the company’s current market presence in overseas markets, with a strong focus on Africa, and emphasized that, in the period ahead, expanding into African markets will remain a top priority under the company’s “going global” strategy. He expressed the hope that, building on the existing foundation, the company will further broaden its overseas business scope and gradually shift its strategic focus toward public infrastructure sectors such as education and healthcare.
President Huang Yaoquan is a native of Haimen, Jiangsu Province. In addition to founding Huazheng Home Textiles in the Haimen Industrial Park, he has also established Greater Antelope Textiles Ltd. and Golden Phoenix International Trading Company in Namibia, and invested in the development of the China Trade City in Angola. He has long been engaged in the production and trade of home textile products for the African market, and has been elected Vice President of the Namibian Association for the Promotion of China’s Peaceful Reunification and President of the Namibian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As such, he is a prominent Chinese business leader with significant influence in the countries of Southern Africa.

President Huang Yaoquan stated that Huazheng Home Textiles has adopted a “go global” strategy, having been established in Namibia for 23 years. Building on this foundation, the company has broadened its horizons to the African market, closely aligning its initiatives with Angola’s national conditions and local realities. To this end, it has developed a Chinese Town in Angola, placing particular emphasis on standardizing and legalizing business operations, as well as institutionalizing and智能化izing mechanisms to safeguard the lives and property of merchants in the Chinese Town. The company is innovating the Chinese Town brand and continuously exploring new models for the survival and development of Chinese entrepreneurs overseas. At the same time, it remains committed to giving back to Angolan society, actively responding through concrete actions to the grand slogan put forward at the 19th National Congress—“a new era, a new outlook, and new achievements”—and striving to transform the Chinese Town into a high-value, authentic ambassadorial symbol of China’s image.
Finally, Chairman Huang Yaoquan and the leadership of the Group held enthusiastic and cordial discussions on future cooperation directions, expressing the hope that the two sides will jointly develop the African market, forge a close partnership, and strive for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
