Striving with Vigor and Moving Forward in Tune with the Times—Beijing Branch Holds 2019 Annual Meeting; Chairman Zhang Xiangyang Attends to Extend Congratulations and Deliver a Speech

On the afternoon of January 4, 2020, the Beijing Branch held its 2019 annual meeting, attended by more than 250 people, including all branch management personnel, heads of various projects, outstanding project managers, and model workers. Zhang Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Group Company, attended the meeting to extend his congratulations and deliver a speech.
On the afternoon of January 4, 2020, the Beijing Branch held its 2019 Annual Meeting, attended by more than 250 people, including all branch management personnel, heads of various projects, outstanding project managers, and model workers. Zhang Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Group Company, attended the meeting to extend his congratulations and deliver a speech.
Zhang Zhongda, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company and General Manager of the Beijing Branch, delivered the 2019 Work Report at the meeting. The report summarized the achievements made in five key areas: business development and market expansion, project compliance and standardization, accounting and financial management, talent development, and team building. In 2019, the Beijing Branch secured new contracts totaling RMB 5.821 billion, achieved a construction output value of RMB 3.813 billion, and recorded a financial output value of RMB 3.043 billion. Throughout the year, the branch was awarded four provincial- and municipal-level quality engineering awards and four model (demonstration or observation) construction sites. Furthermore, the branch maintained a 100% contract performance rate, a 100% pass rate for project quality, and kept the frequency of work safety accidents below 3 per thousand.
In his report, Zhang Zhongda outlined the work approach, objectives, and tasks for the coming year. In 2020, the Beijing Branch is expected to maintain steadfast focus, further intensify business development efforts to stabilize operational scale; continue to establish benchmark projects and consistently enhance its market image; strengthen a sense of responsibility and improve the capacity of departments to participate in on-site management; optimize the project accounting system and make all-out efforts to raise awareness of project-level accounting; continuously advance inspections of market conduct and strive to eliminate untrustworthy practices; and step up talent development and recruitment to enhance on-site management capabilities.
At the meeting, awards were presented to recognize the 2019 Quality Projects, the 2019 Advanced Collectives, Outstanding Project Managers, and Advanced Workers.
Chairman Zhang Xiangyang delivered an enthusiastic address at the meeting. He began by expressing, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the General Manager’s Office of the Group, full recognition of the achievements attained by the Beijing Branch in 2019, extended warm congratulations to the outstanding collectives and individuals honored, and conveyed heartfelt condolences to all employees and their families. Chairman Zhang emphasized that 2020 would continue to be a year brimming with both hope and challenges, and outlined four expectations and requirements for the Beijing Branch: first, to underscore the central role of business operations and consolidate and strengthen the regional market; second, to rigorously manage construction sites, comprehensively enhance the standardization and regularization of project management, and thereby boost market competitiveness; third, to reinforce risk prevention and effectively mitigate major risks; and fourth, to further strengthen talent development and build an exceptional team.
Finally, Chairman Zhang Xiangyang extended his best wishes that the Beijing Branch will achieve even greater success in the new year and make a greater contribution to the Group, and wished all employees and cadres good health, continued professional growth, and happiness for their families!
