The Shenyang Brilliance BMW PDA1 Outdoor Parking Lot Project of the Installation Branch Officially Commences

On the morning of September 24, the groundbreaking ceremony for the PDA1 outdoor parking lot project under the Product Upgrade Project of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. (Tiexi Plant), undertaken by the Group’s Installation Branch, was solemnly held at the Tiexi Plant of BMW Brilliance in Shenyang. More than 60 representatives, including department heads and specialized engineers from BMW Brilliance, as well as representatives from the Nantong Construction Engineering Project Department, the Supervision Project Department, and the design institute, attended the ceremony.

 

 

Manager Wang Nan, Project Leader of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd., presided over the ceremony. Mr. Shi Min, Deputy General Manager of the Installation Branch, delivered a distinguished address, outlining the Group’s profile and its implementation plan for schedule, quality, and safety management, with the commitment to deliver a satisfactory outcome to the client. Representatives from the supervision unit and the operations department also spoke. Finally, Mr. Huang Jian, General Manager of the Engineering Planning Department at BMW Brilliance, delivered a concluding address and officially declared the commencement of the project. As ceremonial cannon shots rang out and construction equipment was started up, the project officially entered its construction phase.

The project has a total construction cost of over RMB 40 million, covers an area of approximately 140,000 square meters, and can accommodate nearly 4,900 vehicles. The parking spaces are equipped with photovoltaic carports, with a total installed PV module area of 87,000 square meters and a combined installed capacity of about 17.1 MW, expected to generate 17 million kWh of electricity annually. Our company’s primary scope of work on this project includes asphalt paving for the parking lot and access roads, stormwater drainage systems, outdoor fire hydrant systems and fire extinguishers, cable conduits and cable pits, street lighting, power cables for charging stations, fencing, and other related works. The entire parking facility is scheduled for final handover on March 31, 2022.
