I. The entire company has earnestly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
A vigorous campaign has been launched throughout the company to earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, ensuring that our thinking and actions are fully aligned with the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee. We will strengthen our “four consciousnesses,” bolster our “four confidences,” and uphold the “two safeguards,” unswervingly implement the new development philosophy, and steadfastly promote high-quality enterprise development.
II. Significant Achievements in the Company’s Epidemic Prevention and Control and Resumption of Work and Production
Following the outbreak of COVID-19 at the beginning of the year, the company, in accordance with the unified arrangements of the Party Committee, the local government, and the competent authorities, accurately assessed the situation, meticulously planned and deployed measures, and took decisive action—simultaneously prioritizing epidemic prevention and control and the resumption of work and production. All employees and cadres united as one, braved the challenges together, and made strenuous efforts. As a result, the enterprise has maintained a steady and healthy development trajectory, achieving significant results in both epidemic prevention and control and the resumption of work and production.
III. Successful Completion of the Company’s 13th Five-Year Plan
During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the company adhered to the overarching principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability, unswervingly implemented the new development philosophy, and promoted high-quality enterprise development. Through five years of sustained effort by all cadres and employees, the key objectives and tasks set forth in the company’s 13th Five-Year Plan were comprehensively achieved, marking new historic accomplishments in the company’s development.
IV. Steady Progress in the Company’s Operating Performance
Throughout the year, the company won bids for 511 projects with a total floor area of 7.04 million square meters, and both the value of newly signed construction contracts and total revenue exceeded RMB 20 billion once again. These achievements were attained through the concerted efforts and unwavering determination of the company’s vast workforce in the face of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and intense competition in the construction market—results that were hard-earned.
V. The Company’s Contribution to Local Economic Development Continues to Grow
On March 30, at the Chongchuan District Investment Promotion Conference and Private Enterprise Economic Development Conference, the Group was honored as the “2019 Chongchuan District Outstanding Contributor to High-Quality Development,” and Chairman Zhang Xiangyang was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Entrepreneurs Who Made Outstanding Contributions in Chongchuan District in 2019.”
VI. The Company Convenes the Sixteenth Shareholders’ Meeting
On June 27, the Group’s 16th General Meeting of Shareholders was held in the Headquarters Conference Hall. A total of 30 registered shareholders attended the meeting. Chairman Zhang Xiangyang presided over the meeting and delivered the Board of Directors’ Work Report for 2019, while Supervisory Board Chairperson Shao Jinman presented the Supervisory Board’s Work Report for 2019. The meeting reviewed and voted to approve all agenda items and resolutions.
VII. New Achievements in the Company’s Talent Development Efforts
Throughout the year, the company recruited a total of 76 graduates from colleges and universities, among whom 3 were awarded the senior professional title, 50 the associate senior title, and 97 the intermediate title; additionally, 82 new Grade-I Registered Construction Engineers and 28 Grade-II Registered Construction Engineers were registered. By the end of 2020, the company had 26 individuals holding the senior professional title, 183 with the associate senior title, 462 with the intermediate title, and 301 with the junior title; it also had 386 Grade-I Registered Construction Engineers and 282 Grade-II Registered Construction Engineers on record.
VIII. The Company and Its Employees and Cadres Actively Donate to Support Epidemic Prevention and Control Efforts
In response to the call of the Party Central Committee, on March 11 the company and its employees and cadres donated RMB 1.12 million to the Nantong Charity Federation for targeted condolences to 138 medical personnel from Nantong who had been dispatched to Hubei; in addition, all Party members donated RMB 390,000 to the CPC Chongchuan District Committee to support epidemic prevention and control efforts.
IX. Capping of the Main Structure at Beicheng Bridge Station on Nantong Urban Rail Transit Line 2
On October 18, the final top slab of Beicheng Bridge Station on Nantong Metro Line 2, constructed by the Third Division of the Group Company, was successfully poured, marking the completion of shoring for the excavation area and the successful capping of the main structure of the three-level underground island platform station. This represents a significant milestone in the implementation of the company’s first urban rail transit project.

The company has been honored with numerous prestigious titles, including “Top 500 Private Enterprises in China,” “Top 250 Global International Contractors by ENR,” “Top 80 Chinese Contractors,” “Top 200 Private Enterprises in Jiangsu Province,” “AAA-Credit Rated Enterprise in China’s Foreign Contracting Engineering Sector,” and “Top 30 Most Competitive Construction Enterprises in Nantong City.”
