Chairman Zhang Xiangyang Attends the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Jingyuan Ruigu Project

On the morning of March 31, Chongchuan District held a ceremony to mark the commencement of major projects for March 2021 and the groundbreaking of the Jingyuan Ruigu Project. Liu Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Chongchuan District Party Committee, along with leaders from the district’s four leading bodies and relevant departments, attended the event. Zhang Xiangyang, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of the Group Company, was invited to attend as the representative of the general construction contractor for the Jingyuan Ruigu Project.
The Jingyuan Ruigu Project was awarded to the Third Branch of the Group Company. Located west of Tongfu Road and north of Xinsheng Road in Chongchuan District, the project has a total construction area of approximately 200,000 square meters, a total contract value of about RMB 300 million, and a construction period of 822 days, with planned completion scheduled for July 2023.

Jingyuan boasts end-to-end, integrated service capabilities across the entire environmental water-treatment value chain.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Secretary Liu Hao pointed out that Nantong was among the first fourteen coastal cities in China to open up to the outside world and last year successfully joined the ranks of cities with a GDP exceeding RMB 1 trillion. Chongchuan is Nantong’s main urban district; in recent years, it has earnestly implemented the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s initiative to achieve breakthroughs in major projects, focusing on high-end industries, prioritizing large-scale projects, and ensuring their effective implementation. In 2020, the number of ultra-large and major projects introduced and the total investment in such projects were 1.75 times and 3 times, respectively, the levels of two years earlier, while the number of newly commenced ultra-large and major projects was 2.25 times that of two years ago. The Jingyuan Ruigu project, which broke ground today, centers on the full industrial chain of energy and environmental protection, aiming to build a comfortable, eco-friendly integrated complex and injecting new vitality into Chongchuan’s green development. This year marks the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the start of modernization efforts; to promote high-quality development, we must firmly focus on project construction, do everything possible to remove obstacles and solve problems for enterprises, and strive to create a world-class business environment.
Li Wulin, Chairman of Jingyuan Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., briefed the attendees on the specifics of the Jingyuan Ruigu Project. Subsequently, amid the booming sound of ceremonial cannon fire, Chairman Zhang Xiangyang, Secretary Liu Hao, Chairman Li Wulin, and other leaders jointly laid the foundation stone and compacted the soil for the Jingyuan Ruigu Project.
