Warmly Celebrating the Centenary of the Founding of the Party: Building New Achievements in Construction Engineering

To mark the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to deepen our understanding of Party history and culture, on April 26, under the leadership of Wang Shaobo, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Third Branch Company, young employees of the Third Branch Company conducted a team-building activity at the Memorial Hall of the 14th Red Army in Rugao, where they studied Party history in earnest, cultivating both love for the Party and love for the country through a thorough grasp of historical truth. The 14th Red Army of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army was established in Rugao in 1930 and was the only regular Red Army unit within Jiangsu Province that was directly subordinated to the central command during the Land Revolution period. The arduous and extraordinary armed struggle waged by the 14th Red Army sowed the seeds of armed resistance across the lands of the Yangtze River and the sea, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent eastward advance of the New Fourth Army and for the New Fourth Army’s seven consecutive victories in Central Jiangsu. The great spirit embodied in this red history stands as the advanced embodiment of red culture in every era; only by carrying forward these fine traditions and noble qualities can our nation and people enjoy enduring prosperity and vitality. We must always remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, transforming that aspiration and mission into a vigorous spirit of striving for progress and pioneering innovation, as well as into the driving force that compels us to work diligently and pragmatically with unwavering commitment.

To study and experience the Party’s red spirit, the team-building activities were closely aligned with Party building: the “Forever Follow the Party” Party-building puzzle enabled participants to get to know one another in a unique way, fostering a vibrant team atmosphere; the “Glorious 100-Year Red Journey” game allowed participants to relive the Party’s glorious past, unleashing their passion, appreciating the importance of win-win cooperation, enhancing their emotional intelligence, cultivating a spirit of dedication, and savoring the joy of working together to accomplish tasks; the “Huaihai Unicycle” activity involved hands-on construction of a unicycle to commemorate the grand Huaihai Campaign, symbolizing the close bond between the Communist Party and the working people—soldiers and civilians standing together through thick and thin. By building the unicycle, participants jointly recalled the years of self-reliance and arduous struggle, reaffirming their original aspiration and mission in the new era and on the new journey, and striving together to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; the modern “Land Curling” event nurtured teamwork and synergy, requiring individuals to leverage their skills while coordinating with team tactics to secure victory in this “battle.” Finally, all participants posed for a group photo beneath the Party flag and national flag, unanimously pledging to uphold their commitments and pool their concerted efforts to build the mighty Chinese Dream!
