Implementing Safety Responsibilities to Promote Safe Development—Suzhou Branch Holds On-Site Meeting for “June Safety Production Month”

To solidly advance the June Safety Production Month campaign and consolidate and maintain a favorable safety production environment, the Suzhou Branch held an on-site meeting for the 2021 “June Safety Production Month” at the project office of the Hengtai Ruihua Four Seasons Apartment Project on the afternoon of June 22. Nearly 100 participants attended, including all management personnel from the Suzhou Branch headquarters, project managers, safety officers, project management staff, worker representatives from each work team, as well as representatives from the owner and the supervision unit. Chen Jianqing, Deputy General Manager of the Group and General Manager of the Suzhou Branch, Yin Yougen, Deputy General Manager, and Liu Xu, Chief Engineer, attended the meeting, which was chaired by Shen Wei, Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy General Manager of the Suzhou Branch.

The on-site meeting commenced with experience-sharing presentations by the project teams. Zhu Zhisong, Project Manager of the Hengtai Ruihua Four-Season Apartments, and Liu Xiaoqiang, Project Manager of Lot 2 in Plot C of the Nano City Development, each reported on their respective project teams’ safety production management practices, shared their insights and lessons learned, and pledged to further strengthen safety management, fully assume primary responsibility, and make active contributions to ensuring safe project operations.
At the meeting, Chen Hao, Deputy General Manager of the Suzhou Branch, summarized the branch’s work on workplace safety in the first half of the year. He urged all project departments to further refine and rigorously implement the workplace safety responsibility system, adopt a problem-oriented approach, strengthen awareness of red-line boundaries and steadfastly uphold the safety bottom line, take proactive and effective measures, advance the standardization of workplace safety, and thereby promote the safe and sustainable development of the Suzhou Branch.
In his address, Yin Yougen, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, shared insights on three key areas: the revision of the Work Safety Law, the interpretation of the crime of hazardous operations under the Amendment to the Criminal Law, and how safety management personnel can effectively implement safety responsibilities. He emphasized the need to fully recognize the paramount importance of sound work safety practices, diligently perform one’s core duties in work safety management, comprehensively fulfill safety responsibilities, and thereby promote the safe development of the enterprise.
At the meeting, Wei Bin, Deputy General Manager of the Suzhou Branch, read out the Suzhou Branch’s “Decision on Commending Project Departments That Have Been Awarded Provincial- and Municipal-Level Standardized Construction Site Star Ratings,” and the heads of each project signed the 2021 “Safety Production Responsibility Agreements.”
In his concluding remarks, Chen Jianqing, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company and General Manager of the Suzhou Branch, urged all project managers to adhere to the work safety policy of “safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management,” rigorously implement the provisions of the Work Safety Responsibility Agreement regarding work safety management objectives, control indicators, assurance measures, and performance appraisal for work safety responsibilities, cascade responsibility for work safety down through all levels, ensure safe project operations, continuously open up new prospects for the branch’s safe development, and mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party with outstanding achievements!
