Chairman Zhang Xiangyang Conducts Research and Provides Guidance on the Work of the Beijing Branch

Following his attendance at the unveiling ceremony marking the official opening of the Beijing Branch’s new office building, on the morning of November 28, Zhang Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, visited the exhibition showcasing the Beijing Branch’s achievements over its 20-year history and then chaired a symposium on business operations in the new office building’s conference room, where he conducted an inspection and provided guidance on the branch’s operational management. Zhang Zhongda, General Manager of the Group, along with leaders Huang Jing, Shao Jinman, Chen Jianqing, Chen Guoli, Yin Yougen, Wang Jun, Yu Fengbin, and other senior executives, attended the symposium, which was also attended by members of the Beijing Branch’s leadership team.

The symposium commenced with a work summary report delivered by Xia Dejun, Deputy General Manager of the Beijing Branch. In his report, he outlined the achievements the branch has attained over its 20 years of operation in areas such as business development, project management, quality improvement in engineering projects, team building, and capability enhancement. He also presented the branch’s development goals for the 14th Five-Year Plan period and proposed the key priorities for the next phase of work.

General Manager Zhang Zhongda outlined a strategic plan for the future operations and development of the Beijing Branch, emphasizing the need to capitalize on the core Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei market, consolidate and expand the branch’s market presence, continuously enhance its self-sustaining operational capabilities, intensify participation in open tendering processes, steadily improve the operational efficiency of project teams, and effectively mitigate credit and debt risks. Other leaders of the Group also offered valuable, constructive insights and recommendations for the Beijing Branch’s future development.

Chairman Zhang Xiangyang delivered a concluding address, warmly congratulating the Beijing Branch on the official opening of its new office building and fully endorsing the remarkable achievements it has attained over the past 20 years. He pointed out that the current construction market environment is complex and challenging, and emphasized the need to adopt a differentiated competitive strategy, with a particular focus on formulating and implementing a market-credit enhancement plan and intensifying participation in open-market bidding. He then set forth six key requirements for the Beijing Branch’s next phase of work: first, to thoroughly review and summarize the branch’s 20-year track record, distilling proven management philosophies and approaches; second, to clearly define its market positioning and continue to deepen its presence in the core Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei market; third, to strengthen its comparative advantages and enhance its core competitiveness; fourth, to reinforce refined management practices and comprehensively mitigate operational risks; fifth, to put people first and build an outstanding team; and sixth, to remain true to our original aspirations, pursue our dreams with determination, carry forward the fine tradition of “hardship-driven entrepreneurship and frugality in running the enterprise,” and strive for high-quality corporate development.
