The stars shift and the constellations change. , Time flies like a shuttle; Nantong Construction Engineering Group has now traversed seventy springs, summers, autumns, and winters since its inception. On the occasion of the company’s 70th anniversary, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the General Manager’s Office of the Group hereby extend warm holiday greetings and best wishes to our retired employees, model workers, and all cadres and staff!
The company was founded in 1952 year 4 The company is one of the earliest state-owned construction enterprises established nationwide. Over the past seven decades, it has undergone arduous pioneering, tortuous development, reform and restructuring, and leapfrog growth, achieving remarkable and impressive accomplishments. As early as the 1950s, the company’s experience in “putting politics first and running the enterprise with diligence and frugality” was held up as a red banner on the national construction front; in the 1960s, it took part in the construction of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge; in the 1970s, it provided support for post-earthquake reconstruction in the Tianjin and Tangshan areas; in the 1980s, it became the first Jiangsu-based construction team to enter the Shanghai construction market, lending its support to Shanghai’s urban development; and in the 1990s, it achieved abundant results in creating brand-name projects within the industry. Since the turn of the new century, the company has made historic breakthroughs in reform and development, stepping into the leading ranks of the national construction industry and becoming a well-known engineering contractor both at home and abroad. The company has been listed on the “… ” fifteen times. ENR The World’s Largest International Contractor 250 “Strong” ranking, with 13 appearances on the “China Private Enterprises” list. 500 “Strong,” selected as a “Chinese Contractor” for sixteen years 80 “Strong,” and has successively been recognized as a “National Outstanding Construction Enterprise,” a “National Advanced Enterprise in the Construction Industry,” a “National Integrity Enterprise in the Construction Industry,” a “National Enterprise That Honors Contracts and Values Credit,” and a “Special Honor Enterprise for Projects Awarded the Luban Prize.” “National Model Enterprise for Harmonious Labor Relations,” “National Advanced Unit for Open and Democratic Factory Management,” The company has been honored with such titles as “Advanced Enterprise in Jiangsu Province’s Construction Industry,” “Advanced Enterprise in Jiangsu Province’s Open Economy,” “Top Ten Construction Enterprises in Nantong City,” and “Civilized Unit of Nantong City,” earning a solid reputation at home and abroad and generating broad social impact.
Seventy years of relentless striving and progress; seventy years of fruitful achievements through spring blossoms and autumn harvests. The accomplishments attained over the past seven decades of Nantong Construction Engineering’s development are attributable to the wise leadership and heartfelt care of the Party and the government, and they embody the wisdom and hard work of several generations of Nantong Construction Engineering employees. On the occasion of the company’s 70th anniversary, we fondly remember our veteran predecessors, former leaders, and esteemed colleagues who made invaluable contributions to the company’s founding and growth, and we pay them our highest respects. We also deeply appreciate the unity, tenacity, and selfless dedication of our broad ranks of cadres and workers in their concerted efforts to advance the company’s reform and development in the new century, and we extend to them our profound respect. At the same time, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to leaders at all levels, our valued customers, and people from all sectors of society who have consistently shown concern, support, and assistance in the company’s growth and development. The successful experience of the company’s seven decades of development fully demonstrates that only by steadfastly upholding the leadership of the Communist Party of China, by always placing development as the top priority, by persisting in reform and innovation, and by following a development path with distinctive Nantong Construction Engineering characteristics, can we ensure the continuous growth and advancement of our enterprise. These achievements have been hard-won, and the lessons learned are exceedingly precious; we must cherish them all the more, adhere to them over the long term, and continually enrich and develop them through practical application.
Seventy glorious years—now we embark on a new journey of high-quality development in the new era.
