Remember the Merits of Our Martyrs, Commemorate Our Glorious History

On the occasion of the Qingming Festival, in order to trace the footsteps of heroes, carry forward the legacy of martyrs, promote revolutionary traditions, and strengthen a sense of responsibility and mission, the Beijing Branch and the Shijiazhuang Branch each organized themed Party Day activities on Qingming Day.
The Beijing branch specially chose Taoran Pavilion Park—the site of the Chinese Communist Party’s early clandestine activities—to carry out study sessions on Party history and tribute to heroic martyrs. It was here that Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong, and Zhou Enlai convened numerous meetings, vigorously promoted Marxist theory, and laid the foundation for the establishment of New China. This place is not only the cradle of the revolutionary movement and a witness to its glorious journey, but also a testament to the love between the Party’s revolutionary martyrs. Gao Junyu, a key organizer of patriotic student activities and an important supporter in the founding of the Party, devoted his entire life to the communist cause, working tirelessly until his last breath; his love story with his wife, Shi Pingmei, has become one of the most beautiful tales associated with Taoran Pavilion. All participants laid flowers in tribute to the revolutionary martyr Gao Junyu, expressing gratitude to all those who, like him, awakened a slumbering China with their blood and lives.
The Party branch of the Shijiazhuang Branch conducted a Qingming Festival memorial activity at the North China Military Region Martyrs’ Cemetery in Shijiazhuang, themed “Remembering the Merits of Our Forebears and Commemorating Our Glorious History.” With profound respect and deep sorrow for the revolutionary martyrs, Party members entered the cemetery and held a brief yet solemn memorial ceremony before the majestic Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs. They observed a moment of silence and, with heartfelt reverence, laid fresh flowers in tribute, thereby expressing their boundless admiration and remembrance for these heroic martyrs. In addition, all Party members gathered before the monument under the vibrant Party flag to reaffirm their oath of admission, firmly pledging to carry forward the martyrs’ legacy and steadfastly uphold their original aspiration and mission.
This themed Party Day activity once again purified the spirits of Party members, who unanimously pledged to keep firmly in mind the Communist Party’s original aspiration and mission, carry forward the legacy of our revolutionary martyrs, and uphold the revolutionary spirit. They vowed to infuse the spirit of fearlessness in the face of hardship and selfless dedication exemplified by these martyrs into their daily work, and to contribute to the company’s development and growth with the unwavering convictions of Communist Party members.
