Nanjing Branch Holds Mid-Year Work Conference

On July 30, the Nanjing Branch held its 2022 Mid-Year Work Conference at the Dachian Tian’e Bay Hot Spring Hotel in Huai’an, Jiangsu Province, with the participation of all branch staff and cadres as well as representatives from several ongoing construction projects.

 

 

During the meeting, Cao Guangrong, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Nanjing Branch, conveyed the spirit of the Employee Congress and the 18th Shareholders’ Meeting convened by the Group, provided a comprehensive summary of the work reports presented at the two meetings, offered an in-depth analysis of the Group’s key initiatives for 2022, and emphasized the importance of thoroughly understanding and implementing the conference theme of “prudent operations and risk prevention.”

Li Sixian, Deputy General Manager of the Nanjing Branch, summarized the branch’s business operations for the first half of 2022 from eight key aspects. He broke down the year-end performance targets and objectives, briefed all attendees on the business volume secured in the first half, analyzed the complex market conditions in Nanjing, and outlined a comprehensive plan for the second-half operations, with the aim of achieving the full-year targets set by the Group.

Yan Jin, Deputy General Manager of the Nanjing Branch, presented an overview of the Hefei Branch’s performance for the full year 2021 and the first half of 2022, covering such areas as the business environment, safety management, brand development, and the handling of outstanding issues. He identified existing problems and shortcomings and put forward targeted requirements and recommendations for the second-half work.

To ensure effective communication and enhance the efficiency of the meeting, the project manager and representatives of the company’s department heads each delivered reports and engaged in exchanges on topics such as enhancing risk management and control capabilities, addressing challenges in fulfilling job responsibilities, and participating in business operations.

To strengthen project cost management, the Nanjing Branch has decided to establish a Business Center, which will comprise a Modeling and Quantity Surveying Team and a Cost Estimation Team. During the briefing, Wang Yixi, head of the Modeling and Quantity Surveying Team, and Yang Shuaishuai, head of the Target Cost Estimation Team, each presented reports and engaged in exchanges on enhancing the Business Center’s operational capabilities, the team’s ongoing training plan, and their respective approaches to future work. In addition, the Finance Department shared its perspectives on cost management, newly hired employees discussed their work experiences and career plans, and other employees outlined their individual job-planning strategies for their respective roles.

At the meeting, Cao Guangrong, Secretary of the Party Branch, read out the “Decision on Commending Outstanding Individuals for 2021.” He expressed the hope that the honored individuals would remain modest and diligent, continuing to strive for even greater achievements; and that all employees would take these role models as examples, stay committed to their respective posts, work conscientiously and steadily, and make greater contributions to the company’s high-quality development.

Wang Jun, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company and General Manager of the Nanjing Branch, delivered a summary speech on the company’s operational strategy for the first half of the year, project management, risk prevention, and other key areas. He specifically identified shortcomings in daily operations, clarified the responsibilities of the leaders in charge of each department, and outlined the overall plan for the second half of the year. He emphasized that competition in the construction industry is becoming increasingly fierce, and that all personnel at every level within project teams must adopt a pragmatic, meticulous, and on-site-oriented approach to continuously enhance management standards. He also stressed the importance of rigorously fulfilling construction contracts, standardizing and strengthening the management of labor service teams, proactively identifying and mitigating various risks, and ensuring the company’s high-quality development.
