To strengthen the capacity-building of the Institute of Construction Science and to enhance the management skills and technical competence of its staff, the Institute held its first training session of the year on the afternoon of January 29 in the company conference room. The topic was “Common Deficiencies in Testing Organization Quality Management Systems and Their Remedies.” The training adopted a centralized approach of watching video courses, with RB/T 214-2017 as the reference. It began by reinforcing and deepening understanding of the definition of testing organizations as well as the classification and procedures of management work. The second half of the session focused on identifying common non-compliant practices that testing organizations are prone to encounter in daily operations, followed by analysis and the presentation of solutions and strategies for addressing these issues and preventing their recurrence.

The training effectively deepened the understanding and mastery of “Evaluation of Competence for Accreditation of Inspection and Testing Institutions—General Requirements for Inspection and Testing Institutions” (RB/T 214-2017) among the personnel of our organization, providing clear guidance for future efforts to establish or revise management system documentation in accordance with the standard’s requirements and laying a solid foundation for substantially enhancing quality management.
