This June marks the 22nd National Safety Production Month, the 30th “Safety Production Month” in our province, and the 36th “Safety Production Month” in our city. On May 31, the Group Company formulated and issued the “Notice on Launching the 2023 ‘Safety Production Month’ Activities,” under which all levels of the company have closely aligned with the campaign theme of “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies” and actively carried out a series of Safety Production Month initiatives.
On June 2, Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group Company, conducted a safety-production inspection tour at the R21029 site project office of the Third Branch Company, personally leading the team. He emphasized that safety production is of paramount importance and that the “Safety Production Month” campaign must be carried out in a solid and thorough manner. Particular attention should be paid to the control of high-risk and large-scale projects, with strict adherence to construction plans to ensure the inherent safety of such projects. In addition, rigorous safety education and emergency-response skills training must be provided to all personnel entering the site, coupled with enhanced warning and educational efforts, to ensure that all safety-production measures are implemented with rigor, meticulousness, and practicality, thereby preventing all types of safety accidents.

The Third Branch Company organized all project departments to study the newly revised “Jiangsu Province Regulations on Work Safety” and, via online live streaming, attended the 2023 Jiangsu Province Public Lecture Series on Construction Site Work Safety Management, hosted by the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development. On June 16, the Branch Company, in collaboration with the Municipal Work Safety Supervision Station, held a Work Safety Consultation Day at the Safety and Quality Experience Zone at the south gate of the CR21032 land parcel project, promoting work safety policies and relevant laws and regulations. On June 21, at the CR21032 land parcel project site, the company, together with the Municipal Housing and Urban–Rural Development Bureau and the Work Safety Supervision Station, co-hosted a city-level observation event for an emergency rescue drill on pit seepage, water inflow, and collapse.
Branch Office No. 1 has formulated and issued the “2023 ‘Safety Production Month’ Activity Plan for Branch Office No. 1,” organized briefings on the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development’s “Several Measures to Strengthen the Management of Personnel Involved in Safety Production in Construction Site Accidents,” and arranged study sessions on mandatory engineering construction standards, including the “General Code for Safety, Hygiene, and Occupational Health at Construction and Municipal Engineering Job Sites.”
The inspection teams from the Installation Branch and the General Contracting Division conducted on-site safety production month outreach lectures at all major project sites. First, they enhanced safety awareness and education by screening the video “Voices of Safety.” Second, in light of each project’s specific characteristics, they identified the primary hazards present, including work at heights, temporary electrical installations, and protective measures for openings and edge areas. Third, drawing on accident case studies, they provided detailed briefings to relevant personnel on safety hazards and common violations uncovered during monthly inspections. Fourth, in alignment with the company’s “Job-Specific Safety Production Responsibility Checklist,” they conducted focused briefings on the safety responsibilities of team leaders and workers, going through each item one by one. To strengthen construction personnel’s awareness of safety and emergency response, on the afternoon of June 21, the branch organized more than 100 individuals at the Phase II Commercial Building Project of Xinghu City Plaza to conduct a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) drill, thereby improving their first-aid skills.
Building on the mobilization and deployment meeting, the Shijiazhuang Branch organized project managers to sign safety-promotion banners, thereby enhancing their awareness of safety management. On June 6, in collaboration with the Safety Supervision Office of the Xingtai Municipal Housing and Urban–Rural Development Bureau, a fire-fighting drill was conducted at the Yongkang City project site, which strengthened the fire-safety awareness of all project managers, improved workplace safety performance, and enhanced emergency response capabilities.
The Tianjin Branch has launched a “Promoting Safety and Civility” campaign on project sites to educate employees on workplace safety, while also organizing staff to participate in the Engineering Department’s QR-code-based “Safety Knowledge Quiz” activity, thereby encouraging full employee engagement in Safety Production Month.
Yin Yougen, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, stated that safety is not a one-month endeavor; it cannot be accomplished in just one month. Safe production has no endpoint—it is an ongoing journey! The company’s special campaign encompassing comprehensive inspections, rectification, training, and publicity on workplace safety will continue to be carried out without pause, with the aim of establishing and improving a long-term mechanism for workplace safety and ensuring the enterprise’s safe, healthy, and high-quality development.
