Thus, the corporate ethos of “hardship-driven entrepreneurship and pioneering spirit” shines brightly and flourishes on the racecourse.

4 On March 12, the 2026 PICC Xiong’an Marathon kicked off with the starting gun, drawing 12,000 runners to this “City of the Future” for a race that seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with ecological sustainability. This year’s course has been comprehensively upgraded, linking key landmarks such as the Xiong’an Urban Computing Center, the Baiyangdian Ecological Zone, and the relocated headquarters of central state-owned enterprises, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Xiong’an’s distinctive character—where blue and green intertwine and water and city harmoniously coexist—and to experience its vibrant energy firsthand. Wu Wei and Tang Xiangjie, employees of Nantong Construction Beijing Company, lined up side by side on the half-marathon course, braving the gentle spring breeze. On a route that beautifully balances technological innovation with natural beauty, they encouraged one another with spirited cheers and marched forward with resolute steps. Through seamless teamwork and unwavering determination, they successfully completed the race, capturing the spirit of unity and relentless drive that defines the construction workforce against the stunning backdrop of Xiong’an in spring.

A week later, on April 19, the 2026 Junlebao Baoding Marathon kicked off as scheduled, delivering another triumphant report. This ancient city, long celebrated as the “City of Olympic Champions,” drew a record-breaking crowd of 221,300 runners vying for just 20,000 entry slots, welcoming participants from 21 countries and 34 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government. With an overall lottery success rate of only about 9%, the event’s irresistible appeal and the city’s enthusiastic spirit were unmistakable. Zhou Jian, a company employee who previously posted an outstanding time of 3 hours and 9 minutes at the Beijing Marathon, once again took to the full-marathon course. Confronted with a flat, wide “natural PB track” running alongside the city’s network of waterways and cheered on nonstop by cheering crowds along the way, he pushed past his physical limits and forged ahead with relentless determination, ultimately crossing the finish line in triumph. Through his perseverance and speed, he exemplified the Jianshe team’s indomitable spirit of self-transcendence and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Every step of perseverance on the competition field is a vivid reflection of our daily work; every breakthrough on the track is a vibrant embodiment of our corporate culture. The three athletes’ resilience, tenacity, and spirit of unity and collaboration on the track are a vivid microcosm of Nantong Construction Engineering’s corporate ethos—“hardship-driven entrepreneurship and pioneering spirit”—and they also put into practice the company’s mission of “building structures, nurturing talent, and serving society.” In their day-to-day work, they are deeply rooted at the project front lines, meticulously refining engineering quality with artisanal dedication and embodying the pragmatic spirit of “seeking truth from facts” through an unwavering commitment to excellence, thus upholding the quality policy of “delivering premium projects, building a reputation for integrity, and showcasing the exemplary character of our ‘iron army.’” On the race track, they strive relentlessly and never give up, fully demonstrating teamwork and an indomitable fighting spirit, ensuring that the sense of responsibility and commitment of Nantong Construction Engineers is passed on with every stride.

The successful completion of these two events is not only a vivid demonstration of the company’s “Healthy Living, Happy Work” philosophy, but also a compelling illustration of how our corporate culture translates into a powerful driver of growth. Today, this spirit of relentless striving—spanning across the racecourse—is being continuously passed on to every employee at Nantong Construction Beijing Company. Drawing inspiration from these three athletes and embracing the marathon spirit, we will infuse the tenacity, collaboration, and determination we witnessed on the track into every construction project and every role we undertake. On the “racecourse” of engineering construction, we will forge ahead with courage and determination, striving to lead the way and set new benchmarks, thereby injecting a steady stream of robust momentum into the company’s high-quality development and jointly writing a glorious chapter of perseverance for the builders of the new era!
