To ensure that the spirit of the Group’s Second Session of the Sixth Workers’ Congress is effectively communicated to the front lines, thoroughly implemented, and translated into concrete actions and tangible results, Liu Jian, Deputy General Manager of the Shijiazhuang Branch, recently visited the project office of the Health and Wellness Academy to convene a special study session on the Congress’s key directives. All project management personnel attended and engaged in exchanges and discussions.
At the meeting, Liu Jian, closely aligned with the project’s actual production and operations, prepared a dedicated presentation PowerPoint based on the key points of Chairman Zhang Xiangyang’s important address and General Manager Zhang Zhongda’s administrative report. He systematically explained the Group’s assessment of the situation during the enterprise’s “decisive phase for survival,” the seven major strategic initiatives, the requirements for strengthening work style, and the specific implementation measures adopted by the Shijiazhuang Branch. The meeting conducted an in-depth analysis of the severe challenges posed by industry downturns, market contraction, and mounting pressure on existing assets, while fully conveying the Group’s overarching work principle of “seeking progress amid stability and achieving advancement through action” and its eight-character business policy of “contraction, cost reduction, capability building, and global expansion.” In light of the core tasks of accelerating construction and ensuring timely delivery for Phase II of the Health and Wellness Academy project, the meeting clearly defined three non‑negotiable red lines—quality, safety, and schedule—and prioritized key areas such as revisiting project costs, collecting outstanding receivables, and implementing meticulous, end-to-end management. It called on all employees to abandon complacency and passivity, confront difficulties head‑on, take concrete actions to overcome obstacles, and strive to break through these challenges.
Following the focused study session, participants shared their reflections in turn, linking them to their respective roles and responsibilities. All expressed that this specialized learning had deepened their understanding of industry trends and the current challenging circumstances facing the company, enabling them to pinpoint the key priorities and strategic focus areas for grassroots projects. Moving forward, they pledged to fulfill their duties diligently and translate the insights gained into concrete results in their work.
Finally, Liu Jian delivered a concluding address, urging all employees to thoroughly study and earnestly implement the spirit of the Employees’ Congress, leveraging concrete actions and tangible results to help the company prevail in the critical battle to ensure survival and pursue sustainable development. First, he emphasized the need to firmly assign and enforce responsibilities at every post, firmly instilling the principle that “everyone is an operator,” and encouraging proactive accountability and meticulous performance of duties. Second, he called for deepening efforts to reduce costs and boost efficiency, integrating cost control throughout the entire project lifecycle and tapping into untapped potential for value creation. Third, he stressed the importance of fortifying risk‑management safeguards across all areas, rigorously overseeing key aspects such as construction quality, workplace safety, accounts receivable, and compliant operations, thereby safeguarding the company’s operational bottom line. Fourth, he urged the cultivation of a pragmatic, problem‑solving work style: management should take the lead in command and set an example, while all employees rise to challenges, pool their strengths, and press forward with unwavering determination to drive high‑quality project execution and ensure timely, successful delivery.
