The Group Company convened a mobilization meeting to brief on the project management for the student dormitory construction project in the eastern campus of Changzhou University’s Science and Education City.

On the afternoon of July 31, the Group held a project management briefing and mobilization meeting for the student dormitory project in the eastern campus of Changzhou University’s Science and Education City at the headquarters conference hall. Attending the meeting were Group leaders Zhong Yiming, Huang Jing, Shao Jinman, Yin Yougen, Guo Qiyun, Wang Jinfeng, along with heads of relevant functional departments at headquarters, as well as key executives from the First Branch, the Nanjing Branch, and the Installation Branch, together with all project management personnel. Zhang Xiangyang, Chairman of the Group, attended the meeting and delivered a mobilization address, while General Manager Zhang Zhongda presided over the proceedings.
The student dormitory project in the eastern zone of Changzhou University’s Science and Education City Campus represents a breakthrough achievement for the branch company in its deep engagement with Jiangsu’s science‑education infrastructure market, with a contract value of RMB 252.83 million. At the project briefing, Qiu Lin, Deputy General Manager of the Group and General Manager of the First Branch, and Ma Yinhua, Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy General Manager of the First Branch, delivered detailed briefings on project management, safe and civilized construction, refined cost control, and compliance management. Li Haifeng, Deputy General Manager of the First Branch, drew on his experience from the Nanjing Forestry University dormitory project to provide an in‑depth overview of the project management characteristics and key considerations specific to projects under the Provincial Public Construction Center. Meanwhile, Wang Jun, Deputy General Manager of the Group and General Manager of the Nanjing Branch, along with Li Sixian, Deputy General Manager of the Nanjing Branch, and Chief Engineer Wu Yongliang, shared the project management requirements and proven best practices associated with the Jiangsu Provincial Public Construction Center.

The members of the project management team for the East‑District Student Dormitory Project at Changzhou University’s Science and Education City Campus each delivered statements. They pledged to resolutely implement the Group Company’s decisions and arrangements, rigorously enforce all project‑management handover objectives and work requirements, and devote themselves wholeheartedly to meticulously executing every task, thereby ensuring a successful outcome that meets the expectations of both the construction client and the Group Company.
In his mobilization speech, Chairman Zhang Xiangyang emphasized that this project‑management briefing and kickoff meeting aims to reinforce accountability across the board, align thinking and objectives, and refine control measures, thereby advancing project construction with high standards, high quality, and high efficiency. He outlined five key requirements for the next phase of project management: First, elevate political awareness and deeply recognize the special significance of this project. As the first implementation of Jiangsu Province’s three‑year campaign to upgrade and expand student dormitories at provincial universities, this project also serves as a flagship undertaking, underscoring the Group’s commitment to cultivating the Jiangsu market for science, education, and infrastructure while showcasing the strength of the “Nantong Construction” brand. Successfully delivering this project to the highest standards will lay a solid foundation for the Group’s future expansion into university infrastructure and public‑building projects throughout the province. Second, focus on five core areas of control and rigorously manage every stage of the project. Uphold safety as an inviolable bottom line and build robust protective barriers; maintain stringent quality standards to create exemplary campus buildings; closely monitor critical milestones and scientifically schedule construction activities; ensure civilized site practices to preserve a clean and orderly campus environment; and strengthen cost‑control measures to achieve contractual targets. Third, foster team cohesion, clarify responsibilities at all levels, and ensure the effective implementation of all management initiatives. The leadership team of Branch No. 1 should regularly engage on the front lines to provide oversight; the Nanjing Branch should continue sharing its proven expertise in managing public‑building projects; and senior leaders and functional departments at headquarters should conduct regular on‑site inspections and guidance. Project management teams must remain firmly rooted in the field, assuming their duties with dedication, while technical, production, and safety personnel work in seamless coordination to enforce management protocols at every step of the construction process. At the same time, Party building must guide project execution, with concerted efforts to establish a model “red‑flag construction site.” Fourth, set long‑term goals and deepen our presence in the regional market through this project. By demonstrating exceptional on‑site management and outstanding engineering results, we will earn the full confidence of the Provincial Public‑Building Center and Changzhou University, enabling us to steadily expand into public‑building, science‑education infrastructure, and urban‑renewal projects across the province, and further enhance the reputation of “Nantong Construction” as a leading, locally‑based architectural firm in Jiangsu.
This meeting fully underscored the Group’s high priority for the construction of the student dormitory project in the eastern campus of Changzhou University’s Science and Education City. All members of the project team pledged to resolutely implement the spirit of the project briefing, unite as one, work diligently and pragmatically, and spare no effort to accomplish all tasks related to the project’s development. Meanwhile, Branch No. 1 will seize the opportunity presented by winning this contract to further deepen its presence in the field of centrally managed government‑invested projects in Jiangsu Province, striving to consolidate and enhance its market share and contributing even greater strength to the Group’s sustained, stable, and healthy growth.
